Dear henrik,
just fast before I am off again:

Your Heckel discus is a typical Rio Negro S. discus. It could be collected in the Moreira region (see my book, page 165, photo 2, almost identical).

Interesting, and not far from that location I found in the Rio Unini almost same Heckel discus you showed also on the home page of this forum. Have also a look at my book page 167 photo 5. I am sure those are from there.

Who sgipped/old thoes to you?

Best regards

Heiko

Hello Heiko,

Henrik bought those heckels at Tropiska akvariefisk importen here in Gothenburg,
same pet store where I bought my Red spotted green Jutai and Blue manacapuru.

I don't know who sell to Tommy but he has imported wild discus since beginning of the -80s
and the quality of those fishes has been very good, so Tommy have some good connections.

Best regards,
Peter
