They're snakeskin pigeon as you can see from the black tail! There's one checkerboard but not sure which one. :garv:

There's seven of them. A pair even laid eggs on the branch. Crazy. No chance really for anything to happen but photo opportunity. :2tubsup:

Thanks guys for the compliments.

Lubben, haha, I think bare bottom has it's pros for breeding and growing. :garv: Planted tanks are quite a bit of fine balance with discus.

The pigeons are doing quite well from DS-these PSS are dirtier than the checkerboards[clear tail] from them but have finer pattern that I like very much, they recognise me as the bloodworm man now! :garv:
I think DS calls these Tiger Pigeons. :dontknow: Will ask Keong. I'm really tempted to swap them with RSG's I have in my other tank. I have feeling domestic discus and this aquascaping design tank go together. Wild discus would look better in a more jungle looking tank perhaps.

Weather's quite warm these days. 26-28.5ºC in the tank. Not good for the moss when it hits 28ºC+.

I love wilds, but the thing with pigeons, is the a little peppering and imperfection makes them quite likable. Like film grain. haha
