Translator

Post by TWR » 04 Feb 2010, 10:21

Hi all

I would love to be able to read the posts in the non English section of this forum, but I'm a dufus and only understand English. I've read of people using translators for this, but being a double dufus, I don't know what on-line translators are safe to use, or how to use them.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi

I would recommend Google translate. http://translate.google.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Talk to Dan S.
I know he's reading the non English sections with the aid of some online translator, don't know wich one though.

If you use google translate and then enter the url to the site it will translate the whole site.

No problem. Yes, that should work.

Hello again,

I should have said, on the tool bar section on the Google web page there is a button called "translate" this will translate it as you going along so you dont have to cut and paste to a seperate page.

Thanks Dan

Seems you have to redo the google translate thing each time you come to this site, is that right?

If I post a reply in the non English section, does translator translate my text back to sweedish? I'd like to ask questions about some backgrounds I'm considering that hopefully more than the international members can read.

I think many of the swedish members read in this international english-writing section as well (me for example).
