Breeding of wildcaught discus - Red Nhamundá
During this spring I had succes to breed my pair of Red Nhamundás.
These fish a among discus taken home to Denmark after a expedition to Amazonas in 2006 with the legendary Heiko Bleher.
I´m really looking farward to see how the F1s turn out.
Here are some pics. Enjoy!

Fantastic!!! They look soooo nice. When the parents are so nice you shouldn't worrie about the outcome of the fry....
Please tell us how you got them to breed, water conditions, temperature, any triggers.....
And by the way, I think your Hnamunda looks like my Alenquer? Your's are more red then mine but the pattern of the stripes looks very similar. My fish show more red color some times and then they look exactly like yours... Maybe I have Hnamundas and not Alequers?
Please see this post: http://diskusforum.se/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=2021
What is the difference??? Do you know the difference? I sure don't and I get very confused .

Dear Rune,
very beautiful discus, congratulations, also for the you. Just note: these are NOT reds from Nhamunda, but somewhere from the Alenquer region. The Nhamundá discus ou can see in my book, are always very rounbd discus, contrary to thoese from alenquer region.
Anyhow, beauties, and all the very best
always
