Hi,

this is Heiko, although a little late (to many lectures and seminars around the world, discus judging in Malaysia, China, etc.)a and just wanted to say:
1. No I personally never breed Heckel discus, Schmidt-Focke, with whom I worked tgether for 30plus years did, but more in my new book.
2. heckel discus should NOT be kept at pH 8 (see my book the average pH....).

best regards, merry christmas and a very discus-healthy and happy 2009,
