This year I showed guariba lake to my friends from the Swedish expedition.
but unfortunately I could not see macaws and monkeys every morning , what's happened? I would like to hear from Andreas Keller and Ninne? seems to me he had a Swedish symphony throughout the night until dawn in this boat?
the photos below show the macaws in the lake Guariba forest .

Really great pictures, i think we will learn alot through you :tumme2:

When you catch the discus, do you place the net and then collect all the wood and branches and carry them out of the area inside the net? And what way is the best, with the big net by day or with the landing net (on a stick) by night?

That's a good question my friend

In my opinion the best way to fish, and less impacts and hurts fish and nature, and night fishing with snorkel diving, and collecting one by one with a small hand nets , is a better and more selective fishing, but very difficult, the second most selective fishing is also nocturnal and not need snorkel , just focus the flashlight in the submerged tree galls, and discus will be fine on the surface, really easy to be collected

see my video in Unini River show the noturnal fisherie in 2012

Collect the discus in small quantities, in different areas of the lakes, does not affect the populations of natural discus these sites, which should not be done is catch large quantities in one place, it drastically affects and threatens the survival of some varieties, we are aware of this danger and maintain a discussion with the researchers so that fishing is done at various sites, and different each year :tumme2:
