Albino

Post by Poddan » 21 Feb 2008, 00:32

Bought this pair for some weeks ago.
( the pic is from the Q-tank )

Image

They did spawn pretty fast and had wrigglers the first time ,but no luck with fosterparents ( touht I should do an short cut :? )

Got some tips from mandisc to cover the tank to get them to focus.

I did an easy thing just for test. Unfortunately a lot of white eggs this time. And maybe an not so big cake. Are also giving them promore since 2 weeks.

I ´m pleased to recive more tips :tumme2:

Like the iris in the first photo, can truly see the color there and the second photo dont show to much i think, are they to shy to do it in public? :garv: Or do you even have anything behind that? :garv: you pulling our legs here or what? :garv:

Looks like u have a chance this time for a albino batch, hope they only find the pair now then the become free-simmers
Hope the make it now poddischen :hug1:

Poddischen? :hello3:
The female looks old... :blush3:

You must show the male more fish porn, males are more visual :garv:

Ok sorry to make fun but hope you get the chemistry right. Milky white eggs mean dead eggs. The female may be having problems.

Well this time it worked better only 8 eggs who became white. The female still got it I guess ;)

Did a lot of misstakes with this batch.
41 free swimmers is now 8 that I'm raising artificially

Well.. have raised two batches with frys.
When I mixed them together some died. Same water same food. Dont know why.

Batch nr 3 is raised by a Pd pair. And they are looking great.

Batch nr 4 is freswimming to morrow.
( cold be batch nr 5 , must check my papers ) :D

SUM ...
Lost a few, but the pair still produce new batches. :D

Hi Poddan,

Very nice looking pair of Albino...and great to have frys.

I noticed that you are using tapes to clue the styrofoam to the tank....this is what I am using STICKY PAD to fasten it to the tank.
