Did an try with pp , when it turns brown redose to red.

Got an incredible fog in the tank when neutralize with peroxide.

Question.
Is the common to do two dozes with pp if the treatment dont last mor then 1 hour?
And do you experiance the same fog?

I ges it´s depens on the % of the PP in the solution.
I never neutralize, so can´t say abaut the fog. I treat over night.
And my PP solution get brown after atless 6-8 hour.
I then do 60% water cahnges abd ad salt.

Poddan,
If the PP water turns brown quick is due to too much organics in the water or maybe some residual from the water conditioner in the water.
Fog does happen when the PP water is neutralized with hydrogen peroxide due to chemical reaction, next time add hydrogen peroxide in either demineralized or RO water first before adding into the tank.

It is fumes caused by the chemical reaction and it could a lot of things, minerals in the water, etc.
