Hi
I don't understand what previous comments mean, but I can tell you, that guy who make those short videos is a friend of mine by the name of Kuba. On our forum we have a section called "Microscope" and people are sending photos and videos of all nasties into it for identification and posible cure.

Maybe you could start such section on this forum? I will ask Kuba if he would like to register here and post some more photos or videos

Hi

These flagellated protozoa on second film above are Costia/Ichtyobodo as I know, and unfortunately metro has nothing to do here.
One should treat them with one of anti-protozoa medications as MG-based, acriflavine, formaline, salt etc. :stick:.
However, these are a bit similar to hexamita which cause hith, at least they are similar size and have flagella ;).

I noticed that they(Costia) can survive many days without fish.
I cultured them in a small feeder with aquarium water and a grain of fisch slime for a few weeks and they reproduced in volume. So, IMHO they not always die quickly after leaving tank with no fish. It's possible that there still remain hyphae of mucus which drops off from fish as they are infected.

Or.. I cultured a very similar, non parasitic species  and this is in the film..

Anyway, I carried such observations ;).

Here is x1000 magnification:
